Precautions for use

  • Read the SDS.

    SDS (Safety Data Sheets) are available for each grade, please read.
    If you don’t have SDS, please contact us and request them.

  • Properly observe the usage temperature.

    Use within the recommended temperature range for each grade.

  • Do not use for anything other than cleaning work.

    This product is a cleaning agent for plastic processing machines and is not to be used for foods or other purposes.

  • Safety Precautions

    1. 1. When purging under a high temperature, wear protective gear and pay particular attention to your safety.
      Also, keep your face away from the nozzle and die.
    2. 2. We highly recommend installing a local exhaust system. Smoke may also be generated when the product is used under high temperatures. The product is not toxic, but we highly recommend having good ventilation.
    3. 3. To prevent danger, purged ingots and the like should thoroughly be cooled in a bucket or similar container filled with water, available before processing begins.

  • Precautions relating to disposal

    1. 1. Please dispose of Z CLEAN™ waste products in accordance with local regulations and environmental law.
    2. 2. When incinerating this product, use equipment and treatment that comply with the Air Pollution Control Act and others.
    3. 3. When discarding the product in a landfill, do so in accordance with the laws relating to waste disposal and cleaning.
    4. 4. Z CLEAN™ can be recycled like any plastic resin. Recycle whenever possible.

  • Other Precautions

    1. 1. When using with machinery such as extruders, perform screw rotation gradually, paying attention to the burden on the motor and increases in resin pressure.
    2. 2. If resin pressure increases suddenly during cleaning, this can cause burning or carbide peeling within the molding machinery. As a result, the screen pack may clog, so please remove or replace it.
    3. 3. Please consult with us if you plan to use in the film field.
    4. 4. To prevent contamination, it is recommended to seal the bag or container before storage.
    5. 5. If you experience a water leak, always dry before use.
