1
End of leading product processing
Remove the leading resin from the hopper and drain it into the cylinder.
- 2
Preparations
It is not necessary to change the processing temperature of the leading resin if it is within the operating temperature range of the Z CLEAN™ being used.
When using Z CLEAN™ S29, A1, or S58, remove the screen pack.
The hopper should be carefully cleaned.
For vented extruders, tighten the vent line/caps.
- 3
Load Z CLEAN™ into the extruder.
- 4
Loading, Cleaning and Replacing Z CLEAN™
Raise the speed of the auger and confirm the in load on the motor and the resin pressure.
When it is possible to allow a soak, the penetration of the surfactant is increased and the cleaning effect is increased (about 5-10 minutes).
- 5
Loading the succeeding resin
Set the processing temperature of the succeeding resin.
Increasing the die temperature by 20 to 30C will make it easier to replace from Z CLEAN™ to the succeeding resin.
- 6
Replacing to the Succeeding resin.
Replace with succeeding resin until Z CLEAN™ is no longer visible.
If both ends of the T-die are difficult to replace, increase the temperature at both ends from 20 to 30°C above the normal set temperature.
